El Dr. Samuel Cravchic, graduado de la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad de Buenos Aires, fue residente de la Residencia en Pediatría en el Hospital Castex (actual Hospital Evita). Luego de su llegada a la provincia, durante los primeros años de 1970, fue Concurrente del Departamento de Tocoginecología del Hospital Castro Rendón. Durante los 24 años posteriores, el Dr. Cravchic trabajó como Jefe en este servicio.
